Record number of visitors visited the Krapina Neanderthal Museum on the occasion of the European Heritage Days 2018.


In the framework of the manifestation European Heritage Days, the Krapina Neanderthal Museum has organised on 7 October a suitable varied programme and the Museum was visited by even 1.144 persons!

The program called Open Day gave the visitors the opportunity to visit the permanent exhibition using audio guides and solving crossword puzzles, and to visit the unique Hušnjakovo Site.

The visitors were handed promotion publications, while educational activities were organised for children, such as the game „Play and evolve!“, chalk drawing and fun composing of a large geological column.

Participation in this event, with this year theme "The Art of Sharing" is extremely important for the sole holder of the European Heritage Label in Croatia – the Krapina Neanderthal Museum and the Hušnjakovo Site!
